Natural Red Hematite is one of the oldest mineral pigments used by mankind. These natural Iron Oxides are known for their durability and are considered a permanent pigment being lightfast, alkali, chemical, and weather resistant.

Hoover PT-NRis part of the “Good” series of natural reds, balancing the need of product quality and cost. This pigment disperses on a high speed equipment to a lower level than Hoover’s “Best or Better” grades, but can still be media milled to desired specifications in many cases. Natural Reds are used primarily in applications such as primer/protective coatings, and construction products.
