While it is possible to chemically synthesize a Brown Iron Oxide, almost all of the synthetic Brown Iron Oxides marketed today are blends of red, yellow and/or black Iron Oxides. Besides being a less expensive production alternative, it also provides a very broad range of colors. All of the outstanding Iron Oxide performance characteristics, including lightfastness and chemical resistance, can also be found in these products.

OXERRA F6200 is processed to a lower extent than OXERRA’s Best and Better series of Blended Brown Iron Oxides, and that cost savings is passed on to our customers. Customers should expect a lower level of dispersability from OXERRA’s F6200 along with greater lot-to-lot color variation.
