OXERRA Expands Augusta Facility to Enhance U.S. Distribution Capabilities and Advance Company Sustainability

OXERRA, a leading global iron oxide pigment manufacturer, is proud to announce the groundbreaking of its 120,000 square-foot warehouse at its Augusta, Georgia facility, located at 1895 Doug Barnard Parkway.

The project marks a significant investment in the company’s U.S. infrastructure and will result in a wholly owned regional distribution center to support its growing customer base.

Slated for completion in January 2026, the expansion will maximize operational efficiency and provide greater flexibility, improved supply chain reliability and enhanced service.

“Our Augusta team plays a critical role in serving the needs of our customers,” said Kevin Miles, CEO, OXERRA Americas. “This strategically located distribution center reflects our continued investment in the U.S. market and our commitment to providing the highest level of service. This move bolsters our company’s distinguished reputation as the U.S. supplier with the largest distribution network and inventory and allows us to manage it with even greater control and faster speed.”

The new warehouse design reflects OXERRA’s commitment to sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient interior lighting and a targeted goal of LEED certification. Plans also include the use of pervious pavers in portions of the parking lot to reduce runoff and support groundwater recharge, along with the anticipated installation of solar energy systems to further minimize the site’s environmental footprint.

This expansion strengthens the company’s long-term commitment as leader of iron oxide manufacturer in the U.S. and sets the stage for future innovation.

The Augusta site will continue to operate throughout construction, with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Meridian Design Build is leading the project.
